After a hefty past 2 months of events and freelance work - not to mention working for the man, I decided to go on a 3-day hiatus and do nothing but paint. As much fun as I have doing what I do, it is crucial for me to set time aside for myself to regroup, evaluate, and reflect on things. Its how I grow individually. Stunting such a growth is detrimental to my persona. ANYONE's persona I would guess. In fact, I just finished 2 spankin' new Female Factor paintings for a powerful exhibition featuring the works of over 20 women about women! I was inspired by yoga poses.
